Slovenian Motorway Vignette (E-Vinjeta)
You need a digital vignette to drive on Slovenian motorways and expressways. Since 2022, Slovenia has used an electronic vignette system (E-Vinjeta). No more stickers!

Do I need to buy a vignette for Slovenia?
Nope. All our cars have a valid annual e-vignette, so you can drive Slovenian motorways and expressways stress free.
What if I drive to Austria?
Austrian motorways need a vignette, which you can buy at the border or online. Tell us you are crossing the border when you book, so we can sort the Cross-border Permit.
How does it work in Italy and Croatia?
No vignette needed there. Motorways have toll booths and you pay as you drive.
And Hungary?
Hungary needs an e-vignette. You can buy it online or at petrol stations.
What do I do if the car breaks down?
Don't panic. Our roadside assistance is there for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. AMZS road assistance is on 1987.
